Reading and Discussion Group
St. Clements Reading and Discussion Group usually meets the 4th Tuesday of every other month.
Join them for serious reflection, sparkling conversation, fellowship and fabulous potluck.
Meet in parishioners' homes to discuss a previously viewed film, to enjoy potluck meals, and fellowship.
St. Mary's Guild
The St. Mary’s Guild is the oldest continuously functioning lay-led organization at St. Clement’s. This women’s group was formed in 1962 for the sole purpose of raising funds for capital expenses not covered by the general church budget. Our members gather monthly to discuss and plan ways to help keep our lovely sanctuary, hall, and grounds attractive and in good working order. They meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM. All women of the parish are welcome!
The Altar Guild
Our Altar Guild prepares the sanctuary for all services. Their dedicated work is done under the direction of the Rector and anyone interested in service is asked to speak with him.
TNT (Twenties 'n Thirties) Lunch
Every first Sunday of the month, right after the 10:00 AM service's coffee hour, St. Clement's young adults in their 20s and 30s meet up for lunch and fellowship.
These are dutch treat (i.e. each person pays for their own lunch). Anyone in their 20s and 30s is welcome to come!
No reservation or RSVP is required; just show up at coffee hour after the service.
Children and youth who would like to take part in the important task of assisting with the worship services should contact Rector Bruce. Acolytes assist in worship through a variety of functions, such as carrying the processional cross, lighting candles, holding the Gospel book, holding candles, assisting the priest with tasks at the altar, and many other tasks. This program is open to all youth -- third grade through college.
Circles of Eight
These dinners bring together eight parishioners for good food and camaraderie. Couples, singles, older, younger-everyone is welcome.
All may but none must host an evening. Sign-ups happen at intervals throughout the year.
9:00 AM Forum
At 9:00 AM on selected Sundays, we offer a morning program offers a variety of topics ranging from the study of the Bible to forums on Christianity in every day life.
Presenters and speakers include members of the clergy, noted personalities from religious institutions and other walks of life, as well as members of the congregation who generously offer to share their interests and expertise.
worship flows smoothly thanks to the ministry of our dedicated ushers. Ushers welcome folks to worship, assist newcomers, collect the offering, and assist the flow to the Eucharist. We are always looking to increase our pool of ushers. Please reach out to Sarah at: email@example.com.
This congregation is blessed with parishioners of all ages, and there are many opportunities to be together.
