New Member Information About Other Programs

Activities for All Ages
This congregation is blessed with parishioners of all ages, and there are many opportunities to be together. Rally Day (a fall day to celebrate our ministries), Maundy Thursday Agape Meal, coffee hours, the Summer Festival and the Parish Retreat are just some of the intergenerational events central to our parish life.

Acolytes
Children & Youth who would like to take part in the important task of assisting with the worship services should contact the Rector. This program is open to all parishioners third grade and up.

The Altar Guild
This group prepares the sanctuary for all services. Their dedicated work is done under the direction of the Rector and anyone interested in service is asked to speak to him.

St. Mary's Guild
The primary purpose of this Guild is to serve the needs of the parish through a variety of fund-raising projects. They meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm. All women of the parish are welcome.

Ushers
Our worship flows smoothly thanks to the ministry of our dedicated ushers. Ushers welcome folks to worship, assist newcomers, collect the offering, assist the flow to the Eucharist. We are always looking to increase our pool of ushers.

9:00 AM Forum
Our Sunday morning program offers a variety of topics ranging from the study of the Bible to forums on Christianity in every day life. Presenters and speakers include members of the clergy, noted personalities from religious institutions and other walks of life, as well as members of the congregation who generously offer to share their interests and expertise. The program begins at 9am on selected Sundays.

Film Group
Meet in parishioners' homes to discuss a previously viewed film, to enjoy potluck meals, and fellowship.

Outreach
The parishioners of St. Clement's participate in several "hands-on" outreach projects. Opportunities are available for anyone interested in offering time, money, or talent to those who are in need in our community and the world. St. Clement's cooks monthly for the Berkeley Food and Housing Project. St. Clement's also offers the Goode Ritson Outreach Grant Program, a vehicle for encouraging and supporting parishioners in service to the community. Grant disbursements are made twice yearly.

Circles of Eight
These dinners bring together eight parishioners for good food and camaraderie. Couples, singles, older, younger-everyone is welcome. All may but none must host an evening. Sign-ups happen at intervals throughout the year.
